The Charleston County Government Contracts and Procurement Department announces a free workshop for small business owners. The workshop will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 29, in the County’s Lonnie Hamilton, III Public Services Building located at 4045 Bridge View Drive in North Charleston, SC in Room A214.
Charleston County’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program (DBE) and the Small Business Enterprise Program (SBE) in the Procurement Department are hosting the workshop titled “Starting Your Business New Year Right: Legal and Accounting Tools for Small Business Owners.” Mr. Sean Wilson, of the Bostic Law Firm, and Mr. Rick Miller, CPA and owner of Miller Accounting Firm, will be the presenters.
Those attending the workshop will have the opportunity to learn about:
- Business Legal Structures
- Accounting/Bookkeeping
- Asset Protection
“The information presented at this workshop will help small business owners to reduce risks and increase their competitiveness in a complex market says,” said Charleston County DBE Project Manager Carl Moore.
